Sanction Information
This tournament is being sanctioned by USA Judo. Effective 2024, USA Judo changed their policy to only permit USA Judo members to participate in a USA Judo Sanctioned event.
USA Judo has the following membership options:

Full Judo Membership: $100
Youth Membership-First Year: $60
45 day-one time- Membership: $40
Event Only-can only be used one time before you must purchase a full membership-Membership: $15
This offer applies only to current USJF members who have declared Nanka as their Yudanshakai and will be joining USA Judo for the first time. This credit must be requested within the registration form on Smoothcomp.

Tournament Overview
Nanka was formed over 90 years ago with a philosophy of cooperation and supporting judo regardless of membership organization. Nanka's tournaments are structured to provide a competitive event that is a fair, safe and fun environment for our members.
Please note that the maximum number of individual registrations for this event has been set at 600.
Due to the number of competitors and limitations of the venue, only one entry per competitor is allowed. No multiple division entries are allowed.
In all cases the Tournament Director has the final decision.

Awards
Awards will be presented as divisions are completed. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for first, second and third places for all divisions with matches. Uncontested divisions will not be awarded.
Dojo Points
Dojo points are awarded as follows; five (5) points for division first place, three (3) points for division second place, and one (1) point for division third place. Points will not be awarded for uncontested divisions. Awards for first, second and third place will be given to the three highest scoring dojos.
Shiai Fees
A competitor may enter a maximum of 2 divisions.
Early Bird Fee (before August 24): $50.00
Normal Registration (August 24 – Sept. 20): $60.00
Late Registration (Sept. 21 – Sept. 28): $80.00
Kata Fees
If a Kata competitor is also competing in a shiai division, the kata entry fees will be waived.
Kata fee (per person):
Early Bird Fee (before August 24): $20.00 1st Kata, $10.00 for each additional Kata
Normal Registration (Aug. 24 – Sept. 20): $25.00 1st Kata, $15.00 for each additional Kata
Late Registration (Sept. 21 – Sept. 28): $50.00 1st Kata, $50.00 for each additional Kata
