I’m am 57 and I just started Jiu Jitsu for my first time. I have been her for about a month. I can’t say enough about the positive atmosphere here. Everybody in the class has been trying to help me learn and grow. The professors and coaches are outstanding. I’m very happy here and I’d recommend to anybody to give it a try.

BJJ mom here! Grit Jiu Jitsu is a WELL TRUSTED facility. Structured coaching, positive reinforcement, and overall respectful and kind leadership. My family and I hold Grit near and dear to our hearts because of their values. Grit Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai is truly something special. From day one, they were welcoming, family oriented, and filled with genuine heart. We were among the very first families when the club started on Fairchild AFB, and even though we’ve since moved away, the connection has never faded. Still to this day, whenever we’re passing through town, Professor Sam and his incredible coaching team welcome my kids and me with open arms. The encouragement, positivity, and passion they bring to the mats radiate through the entire gym. They live by the values they teach: Iron Sharpens Iron. Win or Learn. This gym is awesome! Our entire family has taken jujitsu or Muay Thai from kiddos/parents/grandparents and more! Our kiddos have had the most worthwhile experience here with Coach Elizabeth and Professor Sam for their first sport!

We love it here! The kids have been here over a year and have 2 stripes. Hoping to get the littlest in as soon as she is able. They have parents night out and fun activities to do in between. Coffee is great too!

Absolutely worth the 12 mile each way drive to be a part of this gym! My daughter(8yrs) loves the kids BJJ classes and is learning so much! It’s been great to see her building the skill with the guidance from the amazing staff. Coaches Elizabeth and Sam have been excellent guidance for her. My wife, son(13yrs) and I all attended the Muay Thai lessons together. Kru Dalles and Kru CJ are great! Always helpful, pushing us to do better and encouraging. The other folks in the class are welcoming and we have never had an issue teaming up for team drills. If you’re thinking about Muay Thai or BJJ, definitely look around and include Grit in your search. We tried quite a few places before calling Grit home and every week, confident that we made the right decision.
